We look forward to providing you a great class in the exciting fused glass arts. Following are some studio policies that help things run smoothly.
Communication by email
Please watch for email from Alchemy Arts Studio and add Support@alchemyartsstudio.com to your “approved list.”
We never share or sell your information.
Safety and Others
All studio engagement is at your own risk. Alchemy Arts Studio will instruct you in safety measures but is not to be held responsible for any injuries.
All students are required to wear closed-toed shoes; no exceptions will be made and refunds will not be given.
The studio is not to be held responsible for the actions or disruptions of other students or customers.
If a Student Needs to Cancel:
Students must call the studio directly in the event of any cancellations at 651-808-8603. If a student cancels class 2 days or more prior to class date, student will receive studio credit for another class. Cancellations less than 2 days prior to class or no-shows will lose class fee.
If the Studio Needs to Cancel:
Alchemy Arts Studio makes every effort to avoid cancellation or rescheduling of classes. However, we reserve the right to cancel due to a lack of enrollment, inclement weather or unforeseeable circumstances. If a class is cancelled or rescheduled you will be notified by email or phone ASAP prior to the start date of the class. You will be given the option to enroll in another class or receive a refund.
The studio reserves the right to change its calendar, withdraw or modify a course. Please consider the possibility of class cancellation or rescheduling when making travel arrangements. The studio is not liable for any expenses incurred due to cancelled or rescheduled classes.
In the event that we cancel a class due to low enrollment, those who have registered will be given studio credit in the amount they paid for class. The credit can be used for another class or anything else available for purchase in the studio or refund. Cancellations are made 1-2 days prior to the beginning of class. We will notify you via the email provided at sign up. The studio is not responsible for unread or lost emails. If a class is cancelled, the studio is not responsible for reimbursing travel costs or other reservation fees.
If weather is questionable, please check your email before class for updates.
In the event that the studio determines the weather is bad enough to cancel/postpone a class, we will notify class attendants. We will re-schedule the class for students OR students will get studio credit for another class. If class is still being held by the studio and it is the student’s decision to not come to class, NO credit will be given, student will lose class fee.
We will notify you via the email provided at sign up. It is your responsibility to check emails. The studio will either provide a refund or you can use credit for a different class.
We love to show off the studio and our talented students!
All classes and events at the studio and student work may be photographed and posted on the studio website and social media. Photos are owned by the studio. If you do not want to be photographed, please mention and we will comply with your wishes.
The studio strives to make all of our classes, events, and community activities accessible to people with all types of abilities and disabilities. The studio is located on the ground level with no stairs. The bathroom is handicap accessible. If you or someone you know has a disability and would like to participate at the studio, please call us and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Every piece is unique. The studio does everything possible to help you create your best work in a fun learning environment. We are working with glass and high heat so the studio can make no guaranties about the final outcome of projects or individual experience at the studio.
Each person in the studio must be a paying participant on their own project. Exception is kid’s parties and will be discussed when booking.
We email you when your fired projects are available for pick-up — usually within a week.
Shipping of projects is available for additional charge if you are traveling.
The studio is not responsible for any personal property left on premises.
The studio is not responsible for student projects left on premises for more than 2 weeks.
Food and Beverages
We have a back table available for BYOB (Beverage) and food at the studio.
Alcohol is only allowed if all present at the studio are over 21 years . The studio has the right to request that you present a valid form of identification demonstrating your age, in which circumstance you agree that you will comply with such request.
Payment is required in full, up front to hold your space.
Sales tax has been added to all classes, camps and events, according to Minnesota law.
